Published in 1953, Fahrenheit 451 is one of Ray Bradbury's most famous works. Bradbury is known for writing many science-fiction novels and short stories, including The Martian Chronicles and Something Wicked this Way Comes. 

FUN FACT 

 

There are some people who beleived Fahrenheit 451 predicted the future. Many ideas Bradury has for technology actually exist today. These include large, flat screen TVs, and earbuds ("seashells") or bluetooth headsets ("thimble radios"). Nothing like these items existed at the time this novel was written. Source
